Lentils In Yogurt Print
This may be serves as an appetizer or a side dish.

1/2 cup lentils, rinsed
3 cups water
1 litre plain yogurt, chilled
2 Tbsp chopped fresh mint or 1 tsp dried
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp chili powder

Place lentils and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes or until lentils are tender but not mushy. Drain and allow to cool. Place in a bowl with remaining ingredients. Combine well.
Serves 6.
