Ginger Honey Glazed Beans Print
3 Tbsp butter or margarine
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp grated ginger or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 lb frozen green beans
1 Tbsp water
2 tsp cornstarch
3 Tbsp liquid honey
2 Tbsp roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped

Melt butter in a large fry pan on medium heat.
Stir in soy sauce and ginger, cook until bubbling.
Add green beans. Stir to coat.
Cook for 11 minutes until beans are tender crisp.
In a small cup or bowl, mix water and cornstarch together until smooth.
Add to beans. Stir in honey.
Heat and stir until sauce is boiling and thickened.
Turn into a serving dish.
Sprinkle peanuts over top.
Makes 3 & 1/2 cups.
